This is the second of two sister albums of field recordings. Tracks are presented with minimal editing, filtering, or effects and are intended to feel as close to what it would be like to experience the sounds in person as possible.

"Brief Fields" takes short samplings of environments and strings them together as contrasting stones in a necklace of soundscapes. Through all, human sounds serve as the cord from which they pend, sometimes hidden and unremarkable, yet binding.
