This is the first of two sister albums of field recordings. Tracks are presented with minimal editing, filtering, or effects and are intended to feel as close to what it would be like to experience the sounds in person as possible.

"Ambiences" collects a handful of extended recordings made during various trips around the US. They are designed to provide background and atmosphere to indoor environments.
